Save your money and time thats for sure, I saw a preview somewhere on TV. I can't remember. Anyways...I say gag me, the girls a good singer, but all the songs I've heard stink.

I want Beauty and the Beast back, and I dont' think they tried really hard on TLM, what I saw shows her just sitting there for the most part singing Part of that world.

It's not inspiring other then her beautiful voice.

I live in Colorado and got to see it's pre-Broadway run - I thought it was awesome! There were a few kinks in places but I'm sure they've smoothed it out for the Broadway run. The sets were GORGEOUS and Boggen is a fantastic Ariel - she really captures that youthful bouncy rebellion
I will say that Ursula nearly steals the show - the woman playing her is a true diva and even though you'll see a much more 'glam' octopus, she pulls it all off spectacularly and the costume is breathtaking. I personally felt the show was wonderful and despite what the first reviewer on here said, she is definitely NOT just 'sitting' around - in fact there's tons of movement even in the underwater scenes and the scene where she becomes human? It was truly magical and the special effects amazing. I never got to see BATB on broadway so I can't honestly compare, but I can say for TLM fans: give it a shot and you won't be disappointed. If anythin (I think) what they did with the ending was really good because it shows Ariel in a more independant light... but I won't say anymore lest I spoil it for people who go see it . Hope this helped!

Good singing voice, but thats it. The fin looks retarded. The set looks like plastic. And I really dont like there seabastion. But I would really like to go see that show.

Just want to let you know, I have heard the musical's cast recording CD. Ariel, Eric and Ursula are fantastic, but to me Sebastian is kinda disappointing. There are a lot of new music, too. The songs the other princesses sing in the "Ariel sound-alike" contest are fun to listen to.

And my favorite is She's in Love, sang by Flounder and the sisters.
